The Well Dressed Bed….Beach House
One of our latest display beds at the shop features Matouk’s Gordian Knot collection. The pale gray embroidery works well with so many colors and would be stunning on a bed in a beach house! John Robshaw linens would be another great choice for beach beds. The textures, patterns and vibrant colors in his line are perfect for the casual beach look. Matouk offers a great selection of cotton/poly blend coverlets and duvet covers that are great for the beach. Toss them in the washer and dryer and you are good to go! The Providence Collection is featured below and is available in a wide selection of tape colors. The Well Dressed Bed
When selecting linens for a bed, one of our favorite starting points is beginning the process with white or ivory linens for the basics and adding the color in the accents (pillows, lamps, wall color, headboard). This keeps it simple, serene and easy to update down the road! Take a look at a few inspiring bedrooms from Elle Decor and Pinterest… We have had many white and ivory display beds in the shop throughout the years! Here are just a few… White bedding is also great at camouflaging the yellow dog hair…ahhh. The majority of our linens are washable and easy to care for, so if you have been reluctant to go for the all-white bed, there are many options to help you create that serene bedroom, while being practical at the same time! Spring is definitely in the air here at Isabella! New accessories and linens are arriving daily. Take a look… Scents and Feel bath towels in fuschia, orange and aqua make the perfect beach/pool towel. They are lightweight, stylish, and very absorbent! A Neutral Bed & Some Bright New Fabric
We recently added new bedding to the bed in the front of the shop. Look closely – all of the bedding (minus the sheets) are 100% linen. Good timing considering this June has felt a lot like August so far! On the linen bed is one of our new 100% linen throws. These throws are so soft and lightweight. Again – perfect for summer. Even if you’re not in the market for a new threw, come on in just to feel it… it’s so different than your typical throw (in a good way). We recently got in a handful of new fabrics, which is polar opposite of the neutral bed above.
