Shannon and I made a quick trip to High Point this week! While there, we scoured the showrooms looking for new finds for the shop and clients. We came home with orders for new lighting, pillows, linens and some new furniture pieces. Take a look at some of our favorite pieces… Love these ceiling mount fixtures… We ordered all of these pretty pillows for the shop… Love this console and coffee table from Gabby! This Ro-Sham-Beaux chandelier is coming home with me! Pretty rugs… We found this line of wastebaskets and loved the patterns. The covers come off for washing. We will have some of these in the shop soon! After our quick shopping trip in High Point, I made it back to Charlotte just in time for a client’s drapery installation! I recently attended the Gift Show in Atlanta. After the holidays, the shop started to look a little bare, so I was very excited to scout out the show for some new linens and accessories. I ordered this great new duvet cover from John Robshaw and a few pillows to go along with the pattern. John Robshaw also introduced a lighter weight coverlet. What a perfect way to add color to the end of a bed. So cozy! A few more John Robshaw patterns…. I love the detailing of these Marcel Miller quilts. Peacock Alley has a new towel with contrast binding in a variety of colors. Kevin O’Brien pillows…. Modern History has a fabulous bed…so pretty in person! Matouk introduced a few new patterns and a lovely reversible quilt. The fabric looks like silk, but is a sateen. So soft! The nail head detailing and shape of this love seat caught my eye… and I must find a space for a pair of these turqoise… Read more

Bryn and I found so many great things for the shop at the New York Gift show this weekend! I’m looking forward to the fall when all of the new items will start making their way into the shop. While we were in the city, we had a chance to hit up some of our favorite shops. Ankasa just opened up a new flagship location in Soho. Beautiful pillows! Another favorite….Calypso Home. The Peacock Alley duvet and shams look very chic on this Calypso display bed. We recognized a few Isabella pillows on the display bed at Aero… Colorful lamps and funky accessories at the Jonathan Adler store… We were also excited to visit the new Dwell Studio shop in Soho. We made it to ABC Carpet and Home before we headed out of town…. We had a great time shopping and also found some amazing new accessories/linens for the shop at the Gift Show!… Read more

While in High Point yesterday for Market, Bryn and I came across quite a few new finds for the shop and for our clients. Take a look! We really loved these colorful lanterns.. and these other new light fixtures… Colorful upholstered ottomans, great looking pillows and artwork from Natural Curiosities caught our eye.
