Alright, onto our coffee table essentials. We grouped our necessities into three sections for easy, neat coffee table styling: organization, the table itself, and stacking objects to create dimension. See below!

Get Organized: We love incorporating trays on coffee tables- they’re great for neatly housing the odds & ends that you want on your table, and they can even look great just by themselves. We always include a candle, a decorative object, and a coordinating vase to house your summer blooms on the tray. There’s room for your TV remotes, too!

1) Acrylic Tray from CB2

2) Ceramic Vase by Rowena Gilbert

3) Gold Urchin from World’s Away

4) Aerin Lauder Caffarella Vine Candle from Isabella

The Star of the Show: The most essential piece in styling your coffee table is, you guessed it, the table itself.  A nice coffee table can center a room, and without it your styling efforts won’t be able to shine. We love this Lacquered Paul Laszlo Table from Chairish; it’s a simple structure, but the black lacquer transforms it into a bold statement piece. This table is especially nice because it’s able to expand with an extension leaf just in case you need to fill more space in your room.

Stack it Up: Stacking items gives your table dimension while also making room for more of the items that you love. We always love stacking a couple of our favorite books with a decorative box on top (which is also great for storing remotes and other odds & ends!)

6) The Big Book of Chic by Miles Redd- available at Isabella

7) Dinner with Jackson Pollock by Robyn Lea- available at Isabella

8) Elephant catch-all dish (double this as a coaster!)- available at Isabella

9) Malachite Box- available at Isabella

What are some of your favorite items to include on your coffee table, or any styling tips you always use? We’d love to know! Be sure to check out more of Chairish’s coffee tables here. Happy styling!
