06 Sep Bedroom Design & Client Home Tour
We are SO excited to share with you our first home tour. Last week we visited and took photos of a client’s completed bedroom that we helped design. While at the home, we asked if we could take more pictures of her home because all of the rooms were just so fantastic!
Let’s go ahead and jump in!
When you first walk in, you are greeted by a beautiful soft blue/neutral dining room to the left:
And a wonderful piano room to the right:
Jennifer, the homeowner, created the silhouettes of her children by hand! She is so talented (and you’ll see more of her art as we show more of the rooms).
I think this was our favorite room (besides the bedroom we helped with of course.) It’s so eclectic and has that wonderful “collected” look we go crazy for.
Can’t you just imagine sipping your coffee and sitting by a warm fire on the chaise? Yup, we’re officially ready for fall.
We were excited to see the family’s lounge. The three throw pillows on the sofa were selected and designed by the Isabella staff. They go really well with the casual vibe of the room (we especially love the deer on the orange pillows.)
And last but not least, on to the Master Bedroom. Jennifer came to us for help with finishing her master bedroom. She already had key pieces but still needed a bed, bed linens, and fabrics to tie the look together. Here are the pictures!
The bed is OLY and was purchased through Isabella.
As you know, bed linens are our specialty. On Jennifer’s bed is an NC Souther embroidered duvet cover and a Home Treasures coverlet with shams.
The purple linen bolster with green accent tape was custom made for the bed. The lumbar pillow is also from Isabella.
We helped Jennifer find this gray geometric rug and also selected a funky floral to add a bit of personality to the back of a traditional chair.
Across from the bed are two chairs we had upholstered in the same purple fabric used for the bolster pillow. The floral fabric used on the traditional chair by the secretary is used again in these two accent pillows. The great antique-looking mirror was also purchased at Isabella.
As you can see, Jennifer has amazing art in her home. She is a talented artist and created most of the pieces you see in her home. She also sells her art in shops all around Charlotte. We are lucky to have a few pieces of her art in Isabella:
Green Abstract Landscape – $300
Purple and Gray abstract watercolors – $125 each

We’d like to extend a big THANK YOU to Jennifer for letting us take pictures of her amazing home! It was so great to work with you!
