01 Apr Kitchen Backsplash Inspiration
Happy Friday! We wanted to take some time to discuss one of the most important aspects of your kitchen: the backsplash. Sure, your cabinetry, appliances, hardware & flooring are all extremely important components to consider when designing your space, but another element that should not be overlooked is your backsplash. If chosen correctly, a backsplash can be a real focal point. There are many, many different styles, patterns, colors & materials of which backsplashes are made up of, so we wanted to highlight a few of our favorites. Take a look!
Patterned tiles: a total conversation starter. There are SO many different patterns available, making it easy to find one that fits with the style of the rest of your house.

Hexagonal Tiles: a fun, contemporary pattern that can mesh with a variety of styles. Go with the basic hexagon, or spice it up with a stylized, geometric option.

Quatrefoil, petals & classic herringbone patterns are also great:

And if you’re feeling really glam, go with a marble or brushed metal backsplash:

Last but not least, the ever so classic subway tile. Sometimes this gets a bad rep for being boring, but try a different colored tile & a contrasting grout and it can be nothing short of beautiful.

These are just a few of the MANY styles of backsplashes there are. None of them are right or wrong; it’s mainly about your own personal preference and choosing a style that meshes well with the rest of your home. You’ll be the one spending the most time in your kitchen, so make sure it’s something that you won’t mind looking at everyday! If you’re in the market for a kitchen makeover, we’d love to help! Happy weekend 🙂
