Loving Lately: Exposed Wood Cabinetry

Hey hey! We hope February has been good to you so far! Lately we’ve been crushing on exposed wood cabinetry in the kitchen and bath. While paint is always a great option for cabinetry, whether you’re trying to make them stand out with a bold hue, or have them blend into the background by going with a more neutral option, the natural warmth that having a bit of exposed wood provides for a room is unmatched. We’ve been seeing this trend pop up more and more lately and we’re totally on board with it! So naturally, we’ve sifted through tons of images to find our favorite examples to show off to you; take a look!

In the Kitchen:

Loving the harmony in this one- the tiled floor provides a nice barrier for the wood cabinetry and surrounding hardwood flooring.

In the Bathroom:

Lots of natural hues mesh well in this gorgeous space- we’re especially loving the contrast between the blonde wood vanity and black flooring!

Patterned tiled floors are most always a good idea…especially in a small bathroom where the pattern won’t be overwhelming! Great use of contrast again in the whites, blacks, and natural woods below.
