Nursery Reveal + Items We Love

We get so excited when we have the opportunity to design nurseries for expecting parents. It’s such a special time in their lives and we love being a part of it!  We recently got finished with a nursery for a sweet couple who were about to have a little girl. The pictures from the install are back and we wanted to share a couple with you!

The use of neutrals, hot pinks, blues and touches of gold makes for a fun, feminine space. For a room that you’ll be spending so much time in, it’s important to make it comfortable and filled with the functional necessities that you’ll use on a daily basis- we try to make these necessities as pleasing to the eye as possible! Take a look below at a few of our favorite items to use when creating a nursery:

Dash & Albert Indoor/Outdoor Rugs

We can’t rave enough about these rugs- their durability, easy cleanup, and cute patterns/colors make them the perfect choice for a nursery!

Pehr Bins

If you frequent the blog or the store, you’ve already heard of Pehr and their stylishly functional products. These bins are available in different sizes and patterns, and are perfect for housing anything from toys to diapers to blankets. They make organizing a nursery so easy, and it’s easy to find the perfect pattern to match your room.

Cute Pillows

We especially love these elephant pillows from John Robshaw- great for a girl or boy’s room!

As we said before, comfort in a nursery is key, and that’s where Lands Down Under throws come in. They’re super soft and come in a variety of colors and patterns!

When you don’t want the harsh brightness of an overhead light, lamps are a great alternative. They provide soft light for those late nights up with baby. Add a touch of color with these lamps from Jana Bek! (available in the shop)

Acrylic Ledges

We love the versatility of these ledges; since they’re acrylic, they go with everything! These are great for propping up story books and artwork in your nursery.
