Welcome to our brand new blog: Isabella Studio! As you can see, we got a fresh new makeover for 2014 and are thrilled to share this new creative outlet with you.
Along with the updated layout and new blog name, we also have a handful of new blog features that we’ll be sharing with you on a regular basis. To name a few: “Get To Know” – a glimpse into the lives of some of the chicest people in Charlotte, “Home Tours” – tours of our favorite customers’ and friends’ homes, and “Shop Scenes” – updated photography of the inside of Isabella.
If you’ve been following for a while, THANK YOU for sticking with us and we hope you like our new makeover! And if you’re new, WELCOME! You can read more about us here; we’re so glad you stopped by!
We love our “regulars”; customers who come in often and who we get to know on a personal level. Barbara is one of our favorite customers and she always brightens our day when she comes to visit. She has amazing taste, especially when it comes to art! (She majored in Art History).
We were sad to hear the news that Barbara and her husband were moving to Austin to be closer to family, but we had a wonderful time visiting Barbara in her home to celebrate the new chapter in her life. While we were there, we snapped some pictures of her beautiful home!
We worked with Barbara on her bedding in both her master bedroom and guest bedroom.
It was such a pleasure visiting this beautiful home and spotting pieces from Isabella Barbara, you’ll be missed!!
Erin and Shannon recently went to High Point Market and found a lot of great new things!
There were some beautiful new pieces from one of our favorite lighting companies, Ro Sham Beaux. Everything they make is handmade and so unique!
There were also some awesome new case goods that we fell in love with!
Here are some other pieces that caught their eye!
As always, if you’d like more information about anything you see, please email us at email@example.com!
Lately we are LOVING these sweet embroidered linens from Coral & Tusk!
The small company was founded by RISD artist Stephanie Housley and her husband. Stephanie first creates her cheeky scenes and irreverent characters as original pencil drawings before she painstakingly redraws them stitch by stitch using special computer software. Finished by hand in Coral and Tusk’s Brooklyn loft, every machine-embroidered pillow, doll, napkin and artwork retains the story-telling spirit and hand-drawn allure of the original illustration.
We went crazy for the crafted detail of the embroidery and the whimsical animals in fun poses.
The fox holding the sparklers on the cocktail napkins above is our very favorite!
These sweet woodsy animals and feathers are perfect for Fall. We just recently got them in, but they have been flying through the door. The hand towels are $36 and the cocktail napkins (set of 4) are $72. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for purchasing information!
