Going Green!

Going Green!

Hello March + welcome season of green. We’re still obsessing over that great green kitchen we featured on our 2021 trend watch. We’re also feelin’ some major spring fever over here. We’re currently craving more green, more sunshine and perhaps more cocktails on the porch, patio or veranda (more on that later). Along with the spring equinox, March brings a fresh start. It also brings that quintessential green holiday, St. Paddy’s Day. So we thought we’d play along and share some ways to add a little green (or a lot) to your interior + exterior spaces. Of course we’re talkin’ literal shades of green, from the palest hues of sea glass to the deepest emeralds … and figurative green too, as in organic cottons and natural linens.

We love this client interior installation with vibrant green geometric wallpaper, and green touches in all the fresh details, down to the drapery trim and custom accent pillow.

We have plenty o’ green in the shop, from pillows (like these chic Kelly Wearstler accents with matching wallpaper available for order) …

…to lots of luxe linens, like these softly-hued linens from Pom Pom at Home. We love this 100% organic cotton duvet cover and shams in sea glass.

It looks so good in the shop too, surrounded by all kinds of new pillows, including this pretty pair.

You can always opt to sprinkle green into your home by adding layers, like our classic herringbone throw, available in a range of green tones …

Or concentrate the color WOW moment on one killer statement piece, like this velvet sofa spotted via Pinterest.

Or this striking bed frame upholstered in sunlit shades of celadon (via The Apparel House). We recently shared more ideas for upholstered headboards here. If you’re ready for a bedroom makeover, don’t be shy, set-up an appointment with us to select fabrics and frames. We’ll hone in on all the design details.

For more green goodness, go bold with moody paint vibes like these found via Instagram at Studio Shamshiri.

Or layer green hues with curves + cocktails. We always love a well-styled bar, like this one via Domino.

Create a green-inspired vignette for your coffee table situation. We have all sorts o’ accents and books to give your tabletop a burst of spring-fresh green and texture.

And if you’re pining for an authentic spring break getaway, take a peek at our travel books for a virtual vacay. Or maybe it’s time to make a few plans for your outdoor living space. We can help you make a design plan, select and order furnishings and accessories so they’ll arrive in time for outdoor living season. Stay tuned, we’re working on another inspirational post on that subject soon.

How cool is this outdoor space we recently pinned from style icon Kelly Wearstler? We wouldn’t mind hanging out by that waterfall. (For more outdoor living inspiration, link here.)

And how dreamy is this virtual trip to a French chateau via Sfgirlbybay ?

Of course one simple way to add green to your spaces is to mix in fresh plants (just ask our girl Mara for all the plant tips).

The ladies of ISABELLA are planning a stop by local plant shop PlantBarClt. More details on that road trip coming soon to an Instagram story near you. Can’t wait to pick out some plants to add spring freshness to our home spaces.

When we’re not decorating or shopping, we’ll be swooning over these green glass beauties from Estelle Colored Glass and dreaming of margaritas and mojitos with extra lime.

And freshening up our style with jewels from our resident jewelry-making friend Noble Collective. How spring-perfect our these sweet beaded strands?

How will you be adding green to your world?

Keep up with all our latest adventures on Instagram. Can’t wait to see you soon.

Happy spring! Here’s to more green, inside + out.
